Questions
- What is a break-even night?
- The number of dances you need to sell before your first dollar of profit, after the club has taken its fixed fees. If the house fee is $100 and you owe $50 in tip-outs, at $30 a dance you need five dances just to get to zero.
- Should I leave if I will not break even?
- Most vets say yes when the room is dead and the fee to leave early is lower than the fee you would lose staying. Check the early-leave policy first; some clubs fine you for leaving.
