Safety
Hotline exists so a dancer never has to give out her real number and never has to sit with a guy another dancer already warned about.
How flags work
- A dancer flags a phone number with one fixed category: didn't pay, aggressive or threatening, hands or boundary issues, followed or stalked, fake money or scam, drink safety concern, other.
- Nobody is ever shown the full number. You see the last four digits, so you know which one it is.
- A dancer who looks that number up sees what happened and how many dancers said so. Never who flagged it, never the note.
- A flag is one dancer's word. Hotline doesn't check it, and a flag isn't proof of anything.
Disputes
If a number was flagged by mistake, email hello@hotlinedancer.com with the number. We look within five business days and take down flags that break the rules.
Texting rules
Texts through Hotline are for keeping in touch about the club. No photos, nothing explicit, nothing illegal. If a customer texts STOP, texts to him stop. If he texts REPORT, it comes to us. Texts that read like solicitation don't go out, and we answer lawful requests from police.
Report a user or content
Anything that worries you can go to the same email. We answer within two business days and close accounts that break the rules.
If you are in danger right now, call 911. If you want to talk to someone who knows the industry, Strippers United and SWOP chapters are run by and for dancers.
