Mindset and money
It is a sales job. Think like the business you are.
Energy is what you sell, so manage it like inventory: schedule days off before you need them, treat doubles as a loan, and read your tank like a manager would.
The same half hour before every shift: pack, eat, set the number and your boundaries, check in with someone, do your face, and step into persona on purpose.
Build tonight's target from your bills, the house fee, tip-outs and a buffer, then convert it into dances and rooms so you know what the night has to produce.
Dead nights come from the calendar: summer, Mondays, the week before payday, the game on TV. Plan the year around them instead of blaming your body.
Decide how long, what the money is building and what comes after, before your first shift. A dated plan stops the money leaking and you staying by default.
Most approaches end in a no, so the dancers who earn most approach more men, spend less time on each no, and keep their energy up because it changes the odds.
Decide your cut-off before the shift: a time, a release number, and two overrides (unsafe, exhausted). Leave for those reasons, never out of discouragement.
Write down what the money is for, with a number and a date, and keep it where you see it before every shift. A concrete why outlasts a dead August.
Stage time is advertising. The money is in the conversation that turns a man who watched you into one who buys dances and a room, so treat the job as sales.
